We correct mistakes promptly and in the open. A corrected story keeps its original URL and carries a visible correction notice explaining what changed and when.
How to report an error
Email news@panjabexpress.com with the headline, the URL, and what you believe is wrong. Include a source if you have one. We aim to reply within two business days.
What we do
- Correction — a factual error is fixed and a notice is added to the story.
- Clarification — the facts were right but could be misread; we add wording to make the meaning plain.
- Update — the story has moved on; we add new information and show an updated timestamp.
What we do not do
We do not quietly delete or rewrite published reporting to remove an error. We do not remove stories on request simply because a subject dislikes them. Where there is a legal obligation or a serious risk of harm, an editor will review the request individually.
Where corrections appear
The notice appears at the top of the corrected story, and the story records both its original publication date and the date it was updated.
