Panjab Express is published by BKS TIMES LLC. We collect as little as possible about our readers, and we do not sell reader data.
What we collect
- Article analytics. When you open a story we record that the story was viewed and a coarse traffic source (direct, search, social, referral or newsletter). We do not store your IP address, browser fingerprint or any identifier that would let us recognise you again, and we do not build reader profiles.
- Advertising metrics. We count how often an ad was shown and clicked. These counts are per-ad, not per-reader.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe we store your email address, the date you confirmed, and where you signed up. Nothing else.
- Staff accounts. Newsroom accounts store a name, email address, hashed password and session records. This applies to staff, not readers.
What we do not do
We do not use third-party advertising trackers, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site analytics products. Sharing buttons on our stories are ordinary links; they load nothing until you click them.
Cookies
We set no cookies for ordinary readers. A single session cookie is set only when a member of staff signs in to the newsroom system.
Newsletter consent
Our newsletter is strictly opt-in. We email a confirmation link and only subscribe you after you click it. Every newsletter carries a one-click unsubscribe link. We never add readers to a mailing list without an explicit request.
